Dirty Grandpa is getting a lot of hate comments on the IMDb discussion board. Aside from assuming that it will be a real stinker, sight unseen, many think that De Niro is trashing his own reputation by making this movie. No one has commented that Zac is also trashing his reputation by appearing in this project. I guess none of the haters cares.
I've defended De Niro's choice, since he will be known as a great actor no matter how many bad movies he appears in. But I also added:
"I'm sure Zac Efron signed up for this project because he would do any movie that let him work with De Niro. But has anyone thought: Maybe De Niro accepted this project because he got to work with Zac Efron?"
"Maybe De Niro accepted this project because he got to work with Zac Efron?"
