I’m surprised by that cast announcement tbh. Neither the role nor the actor are prominent enough to typically get their own announcement. But no problem, nice to hear officially about it anyway.

Still curious about the casting of James. I really, really hope they get someone with credibility. That cast desperately needs that tbh.

Can anyone explain the story concept? I continue to be dubious about this film because it looks like a tough one to market (the same problem as That Awkward Moment, they never could explain succinctly what the hell it was all about).

boy has dream, mentor helps boy with dream, boy with dream falls in love with mentor's girl, it all goes to hell.

not that a marketing team can't screw things up but what would really help the marketing team (and zac) is a quality movie. the marketable concepts are not that hard to find in the film... if it is good.

that's where i'm pinning my hopes on working title being involved, because usually they wouldn't be on a project like this unless it had potential and they've been on board for a long time. also, imo, at this point a lot rides on who is cast as james, given the other sort of meh casting. oh and timing is key... since other edm projects are queuing up. this one seems to be first but it would suck if it was another capote/infamous or olympus has fallen/white house down.
