It's great to see he's doing those meetings even if they are (likely) not turning into roles. A lot of people will be meeting with JJ for Star Wars. But perhaps he will remember Zac for another movie he does in the future.

You're probably right but I can't imagine not choosing Zac for Luke's son. He's the perfect candidate for that role, possessing the boyish innocence, the wide-eyed dumbfounded youth, the soft tenor voice, the physical attributes - I mean, he's effin perfect for it. Leo is the complete opposite - too old, too puffy, too bald...just, no. Gosling is a better choice than Leo, but he's got a clever, trickster element to his acting that doesn't fit with Luke. Zac is the perfect choice, and I'm not saying that because I'm a cougar with a female hard-on for him, lol. I'm saying that from a point of complete disinterest, looking at it objectively.
If they can choose Hayden for Anakin then they can damn well choose Zac for Luke's son. Just sayin.

Yeah, I also think Zac will be perfect as Luke's son. Unfortunately, I don't see Zac getting cast in the new Star Wars film. People already hate that Disney acquired Star Wars, and they'll go berserk if a (former) Disney star gets a role in it.

I just hope it's true that he at least had meetings with J.J. even if he doesn't end up getting the role. JJ is my favorite director and I hope he's different from others who look down on Zac because of his Disney past. It's really sad to see how much hate Zac is getting after the Star Wars rumors broke.

Funny thing how both Zac and Ryan started at Disney, but no one mentions that.

Idt it's "hate" just a bunch of fanboys upset which tbh, I rather like lol. But fanboys were dead set against Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, then the movie came out and they loved her.

Ryan Gosling 'Star Wars' Rumor 'Not True' According To Representatives

It is interesting that Zac's representatives will answer.
Because it was a sensation today

What either publicists say to this doesn't mean much tbh. Publicists are paid to lie.

Does that mean, it's true*? No idea, it's possible but not certain. A denial by a rep means nothing in this context though.

* True as in having had a meeting. The rumor was never about more.

Yes, probably you are absolutely right. Just, I had a feeling - what about Gosling - this is a rumor. I can't imagine him there. But I can't help it, I think about Zac - it's true. (I don't know if a business meeting last week, it was about that project... it's just a thought)
But what pleased me in this situation, I did notice more warmth to Zac as an actor, reading discussed under all these articles.
