I can't blame Marcia for gushing over ZAC. i mean he is every cougar's dream. LMAO ;) BUT ALL jokes aside i JUST glad TO see his co stars speak so highly of him. LOL
Why Zac? I think a lot of it is exactly what you said. He has charisma. He is special. And his work ethic is one that is desirable by most people. You've got these other (talented) actors who come on set and are divas and primadonnas and hard to get along with. Then you have Zac who isn't that. The only time he's held up a production was when he had appendicitis, and even then, he called the powers that be and APOLOGIZED for holding things up. Time is money. I also think that Zac is more talented than a lot of people, himself included, give him credit for. It may take some time, but eventually, he is going to shine in some role where it isn't expected. I think he showed something in the cameo in Liberal Arts. People were surprised by that. It'll happen. I'm looking forward to it too.
He has the attitude and disposition of a hungry student who says to her professor, "I don't understand it" or "I don't know anything about it, but I want to learn." These kinds of students endear themselves to professors, and professors will go out of their way to assist them BECAUSE of their humility coupled with their inquisitiveness and a good deal of initiative.
Zac has that attitude and it excites directors and producers. Also, they are probably encouraged and inspired themselves by him. It's a mutually beneficial relationship, one I've seen played out in the academic classroom.
I truly do believe humility has a lot to do with it. I clearly don't know the guy, but I don't believe he ever walks into a business meeting or onto a movie set thinking he is the best thing since sliced bread. There are a lot of other young guys who haven't been around as long as him *coughAlexPettyfercough* who like to think they are the best thing to happen. I don't believe Zac deep down believe's he is worthy of all of this, therefore he isn't going to act like he deserves all this attention or getting parts in movies that could have gone to another young actor. That humility and ability to show he doesn't believe he deserves to be there show's the directors he is going to work his ass off to make them happy. And at the end of the day that is what they want. They want an actor who is going to do the job, do it well, and with respect to other's around them. I don't remember who said it (might have been one of his directors/co-stars) but they said he's willing to put the work in, in order to get people's respect, and I truly
