I'm so excited about AWOD. At first, I only supported this movie because of Zac, but now that they assembled such a great young cast I can't wait to see it. Love Imogen and Michael. I've only seen Miles in 21 And Over trailer and he is so adorable in it. Even if the script is not that great, I think a charismatic lead performance and likeable supporting cast can totally save the entire film, just like 17 Again.
I love the facial hair, though as I've always suspected it doesn't help with the chubbiness of his face. But damn he looks good. And those Nicole quotes are great
Ha ha, Box Office Mojo has At Any Price classified as Genre: Adventure.
That's the weakness in this movie - no one can describe it. It's definitely not sci-fi and it doesn't have any vampires, but what is it? Family drama? Agro-thriller? Rom dram?
It will be fascinating to see how Sony Classics markets this one. That is, if they bother to do any marketing. I'm really getting depressed about the distribution of indie films (at least, the ones with Zac Efron in them). Last time I looked, The Paperboy was playing in three theaters, just a month after "limited" release. They weren't kidding about that "limited."
