I feel compelled by their current down under adventures to finally post here Zac's CosmoGirl blogs about, among other things, their original 2006 promo visit to Australia. Enjoy!
kangaroo add, lol. it's amazing how open he used to be in early press... but if the only change fame makes in him is that he is a lot more reserved, i'm fine with that. just so long as he doesn't become a douche like the jobros.
It's a tough call knowing how much the media plays with the truth but I do think he wrote them.
The tone of this writing voice seems to match his speaking voice from this time frame in playfulness and general character. There are several hallmarks that match up with his speaking style - "Touché", "Kidding, kidding", "Awesome", "Peace". Plus he always has said he loved English and his English teacher said he was a gifted writer.
I don't even know that CG edited them that much since there are some elementary grammatical errors in them (only a couple, God bless his well-educated little heart). I could've done without the st8 and other number-speak. But I'll forgive him since it was a blog and he was young.
But who knows? As much as we can explain it in favor of him writing, we can explain it as CG writing it.
Very slow, I know, but have just discovered this reading your journal backwards and honestly...
Would someone give this boy a pen? He's hilarious. It would be awesome to see something like this from him again. I realise he's a lot busier these days, but wouldn't the comparison be fantastic?
lmfao. I'm so sorry! That must suck. I was so overjoyed to hear a Yank pronounce "emu" correctly, I imagine that would be the total opposite experience.

I was wondering how much of those blog entries are actually written by Zac vs a publicist/editor. What do you think?
Because the story telling is actually pretty decent and the writing is perfect for the target audience and magazine.
I know I can't make up my mind about it - I would be willing to believe both extremes and everything in the middle.

And I would like to officially thank Zac for not bludgeoning the pronunciation of "Emu" into the ground during interviews. I loves him for it!
