I'm sure word gets back to them pretty quickly when crazy things happen. He mentioned once that once something would get to Perez that's usually it got back to his family and people started texting etc.

It makes me feel really bad when Zac has to hear about certain things like that from his parents.

What he should have said is that TLO isn't *just* a chick flick. It differs from pure genre because basically it's the guy's story. Logan finds the photo, he tracks down the woman, he woos and wins her, he resolves the final conflict. But it's a love story, and that makes it a chick flick. But this movie gives them a manly guy to identify with.
I did not understand what Zac said about the reaction of his parents? ... His mother did not talk with him after the incident? Judging by his tone, Zac is upset. When he says "I do not know ..." seems like he wants to say "Yes I am angry at them ... (the paparazzi and those who did photoshop)" And he's right, he can't control it .. With his success can be compared only his shame ... because it's also loud. Price of Fame ...
He said "My mom still won't talk to me" and I'm pretty sure he was just joking. Also I do agree with you, I think he was upset my his tone about the balcony pics, and he has a right to be. They shot him from not only clearly has a private moment and trying to enjoy some down time, but also they completely invaded his privacy by shooting in while he in his bathroom.

I doubt he could do anything that would make his parents stop talking to him. Rather, I suspect recent incidents make them want to talk to him even more. "Zac, what the hell...!"
The Australian interviews are always particularly welcome after you've already heard the standard questions 25768546354 times. Most of them are a bit more livid than many from the US.
