John John's official comment about what happen was that there was a problem with Zac's helicopter and he couldn't go to Campinas & SP but please, the helicopter took him to both cities (actually, yhe first three pics are from the interview he did for the press in Campinas and not the photocall in SP) so yeah, they just thought we were stupid.
From what I saw, most articles had on their title's that Zac was the one who cancelled and then explained that "there was a problem with the aircraft" or "security reasons"... but the title, the thing most people read, was very misleading. Other than that, everyone who met him said he was very nice. A lot of people thought my friend was Dylan and he almost got mobbed rofl. But he met Zac and even translated some interviews for some tv channels and said Zac was just a very cool guy and seemed sorry for what happened
tl;dr - John John needs to get their shit together.
Oh, I thought those pics were from the evening too since he seems to be wearing the same t-shirt (which is similar but different from earlier in the day). Thanks for the info.
Yeah, it's super annoying that John John can't own it up. I guess for the media it's also more convenient to blame Zac (yk, the "arrogant American actor") instead of a local company, so they are very willing to skew it that way, esp since the statements they get from John John make it easy.
I've seen a few more articles but most quotes overlap or aren't that exciting, so I skipped them.
Yeah, I think most people actually are just reposting the same interview that happened during the photocall but with slightly different translations to portuguese so it will seem be another one.
But, tbf, most tv shows were actually VERY nice about Zac. Only one said that he frustated his fans but they did say it wasn't his fault so I guess it was okay.
That's great about the TV shows. It's just the vibe I got from all those articles which got published after it happened. Not that they outright blamed him anyway but it didn't seem to reflect what really happened.
I'm glad that the day at least ended on a positive note. Everyone from that evening "event" seemed to be fairly happy.
Also, I've heard from a "reliable" source that Zac wasn't supposed to be the one to come here, John John asked for another celeb but when they bailed, John John had to look for one with a Brazilian Visa and I guess Zac qualified and they paid a lot of money lol. So maybe that is also why they wre so unprepared.
