Jan 27, 2012 00:27

IFC Films bought the rights for Liberal Arts at Sundance. According to ScreenDaily, "IFC plans a theatrical release in the top 20 markets later this year." beeonkaa was actually at the Sundance Film Festival USA screening at the Kabuki in San Francisco and I asked her to ask Josh Radnor about a possible concurrent VOD release which has become typical of ( Read more... )

I'm so excited about the positive reviews Liberal Arts. I'll admit, when I first heard about it, I was excited mainly for Zac's involvement but HIMYM has been on a lot in my house lately and I've kind of developed a love for Josh Radnor.

And yay for Lorax and TLO promo starting soon. I gotta say I'm kind of surprised we didn't get anything from the media filming yesterday for TLO that Sparks talked about on his Twitter...usually he takes any opportunity to tweet about Zac/TLO that he can LOL.

He didn't even mention it after he initially Twittered about it. I was thinking 'did y'all not do it or what because normally by now you would have mentioned Zac about 10 times and made at least one inappropriate joke.'

"despite their initial scepticism"

This is really hilarious if you think about it. If you wanted to introduce Zac Efron to a male audience, this is the most challenging you could choose - a bunch of Marines on their home turf. The testosterone level must have been overpowering. I can just see the unit commander informing his men that they were going to have the chance to meet that singing and dancing Hollywood prettyboy that their high-school girl friends were so gaga about. I don't think there was a lot of the usual ecstatic squeeling. The fact that he seemingly won them over is testament to his overpowering charm.

Everything from the reviews about Liberal Arts (and Zac's part in the movie), as well as possibly the movie coming out so soon is so exciting.
ngl, I'm probably more excited than I should be to see Zac as a stoner in this movie.

I really hope The Paperboy gets a US theater release date. I guess Paperboy filming this weekend means we won't see Zac at the SAG awards. :(

Please excuse my excitement for a moment,
ZAC EFRON AND TAYLOR SWIFT ARE GONNA BE ON THE ELLEN SHOW TOGETHER! TOGETHER! ON THE ELLEN SHOW! AHHH! (:

Okay, I'm done.
