Not quite. Having a paternal Jewish grandfather doesn't make you anything in particular. It's said he was raised agnostic, so there's nothing to convert from. As the Holy Father recently lamented, Christmas has become this vast secular holiday, no religion necessary. It't another of those American cultural influences spreading around the world, like sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll.
