also i should say, i know there was some confusion about that one article saying it would film in 2011 but i am pretty sure that was just an unclear reference to the swedish sequel to snabba cash filming, not the american remake. wb has two years to start filming (so like by spring 2012).

I hope that source is wrong and he doesn't attend. We know he wants to move past awards such as this. The only reason I could see him attending would be b/c of CSC which opens the prior weekend.

And August 8 is Vanessa's last night of Rent. So if he had a choice he would probably be there.
