This is a big ole YAY :D Congrats to Christian - well deserved for sure!

And a great job on the FYC ad for sure. Again props to Rick for spending his own coin to do that for Christian.

but i thought that he was gonna be submitted in the best actor category??? unless i read that wrong somewhere?

I did see that article actually. I haven't posted it yet. I have a few articles to post that I've come across none of which specifically mention Zac (I don't think) so I just let them collect for a bit. That one is awesome cause of the video though.

The article you might be thinking of regarding Best Actor is a story about how WB apparently sent out DVD screeners saying For Your Consideration, Christian McKay: Best Actor. It is arguable in which category his performance best fits, but Supporting Actor is a better category to run in as he has a better chance since there are fewer names in it.

and ia, supporting is the way to go. just like the article i linked says, "...had lead roles hiding in the supporting category, where size often matters." ;)

I'm really happy for Christian.

Not only because he totally deserves it but he also really needed it to maintain his minuscule chances for an Oscar nom.

The FYC ad suffers of text overload though.

I"m excited for Christian,I really hope that he wins. sadly, he lost too Christoph Waltz before. Hopefully he wins this time!

btw,I heard that Christian is up for an Oscar! I hope it's true.
