To start this entry is this really interesting article by Mick LaSalle from the San Francisco Chronicle. It is about Christian McKay's award chances, the confusion the MAOW screener might cause and what needs to be done to make sure Christian's performance gets some love.

Actors, Filmmakers' etc names are always thrown in no matter what they did or how they performed. The studio throws everything at the wall and waits to see what sticks.

yea the lets throw the shit at the wall concept is one that many businesses use, it just seems almost laughable in this case though.....like i said, i love him and what he does, but he's so not there yet, nor was this role.

they haven't done any fyc ads as far as i know. so idk :/

the critics' noms/awards aren't going to help at all with him being split best actor and best supporting actor.
