I love Zac but I wish someone (aka Gina) would take him to the side and tell him to stop fidgeting that much during interviews. He needs to stop permanently touching his hair, face, neck and arms during interviews because it makes him look like a vain and superficial douchebag, and it makes him hard to take serious. I’ll get he’s probably nervous and sometimes it’s endearing but it’s time to grow up. He’s done so many interviews by now, it can’t be that hard to keep your hands better under control (esp since it’s getting worse than better).
The endorsement for “Children in Need” was the worst. Why on earth didn’t Gina or Jason tell him to do it again? One of them surely had to be in the room when it was recorded and must have seen how stupid it looked when he touched his hair during that 20sec endorsement.
ETA: I should probably add that imo it's fine to "talk with your hands," the issue I have is with all the hair, face etc touching.
lol funny you say that because as I was watching the movie last night I kept thinging 'this isn't any different than we've seen before, just a different setting.' I actually think that Mike/Mark gave him a meater character and role and that he did better in it.
I wouldn't have said anything if it was only the Empire video. I've noticed it for a while, Empire just triggered my response.
I noticed it first in the NYLON video but you can also see it on Letterman or The View or that charity endorsement, or basically in every video during the promo to a different degree.
And while he's never been sitting still, it's so much worse now but at the same time he should be more experienced with it. I get the pressure aspect and everything else but still...
I'm not saying it's easy to control when it's against your nature but it's part of the job and if it's getting as "worse" as it is, I would expect Gina to step in and make him aware of it.
PS: Are LJ notifications working for everyone else? I seem to be getting only like 5%
