i'm so glad people are starting to take him more and more seriously. it's not even my bias talking--i can't think of any other young actor who deserves respect more than he does.

Interesting that it's widely believed, or at least portrayed in journalism, that to be an 'adult' and admire Zac's work equates to somehow having youngsters that you took to see HSM. I'm a fan, under 30, and devoid of children and that's certainly no 'diss' to anyone fitting in the category of under 30 w/kids or moms who like Zac. Just an odd generalization that if you aren't screaming and crying w/'I <3 Zac' temporary tattoos on your face, you must be a parent. Given, the latter half of that quote does lightly touch upon the fact that "17 Again" helped garner an older audience.

I just meant it's not that hard a concept to grasp that 20-somethings would like an actor in their age group.
