speaking of musicals... tbh, i'm surprised none of the other gossip blogs picked up this story from news of the world (lol):
GET your hands up in the air Wildcats, because ZAC EFRON could be making a return to what he does best-starring in a teen musical.
He is in talks to appear in a film version of Spring Awakening, which opens in the West End this week.
It's a departure from his squeaky-clean High School Musical role as there are some seriously rude scenes.
My source said: "Zac is in talks with Hollywood producers. Everyone hopes he'll sign as it's likely to do brilliantly at the box office. It's already London's hottest ticket."
yeah... maybe not the best question ever, especially the bit about victoria beckham, lol.
i have to just say too that i am so grateful to graham norton for actually doing his fucking research before he interviewed zac. i mean, to be able to recognize when zac was talking about filming a movie in the UK that he meant Me and Orson Welles was just awesome.
i feel like some interviewers are just lazy asses who think they can coast through an interview with zac because he's disney. it is ridiculous. i mean, i loved graham norton already but this made me love him more for treating zac and his work with respect. even if he did spring a surprise kiss on zac, lol.
although to be honest that kiss, as much as his pr seemed to not like it initially, is actually really good pr for the cougar angle. and i'm surprised that zac's people didn't realize that faster.
Part of me wonders if its his team oversuffocating him or the fact he doesn't have another costar to play off of. But IA he seems more subdued then definitely the HS/HSM2 promo...as a person who became a fan of his during that time its a little sad. :/ I wish we could see more of his snarkiness, he's such a funny guy. And everyone asks the same questions, which is so annoying. Ok rambling now. lol.
