Motivation. Its what spurns us to action. Buying the Lotus isn't very logical. In fact its rather the opposite - an emotional pursuit - something I endeavor to cultivate and incorporate into my otherwise brilliant existence. Maintaining your health is a long term change, something you have to get in the habit of doing daily, or at least regularly. It's good to see you caring enough to put forth the effort.

people like to tell me, when i get frustrated about not seeing results as soon as i'd like, that i didn't get where i am overnight, so i shouldn't expect to get out of it overnight either. sigh. somehow that never helped my attitude - maybe it works better on you?

congrats on going for it. as someone else has told me, we're kind of like an aging jalopy, we need some tender loving care.

perhaps someday i'll have some of my own wisdom to relay.

Trying to change my attitude toward exercise myself. I was never against it, and often enjoyed it - as long as it didn't interfere with anything else. Well, you can imagine how sporadic that can get. I have decided to try to elevate it to the same priority as going to work or taking in nutrients. Tomorrow, marks my first day into exercise as a priority.

I have no Lotus endeavors as motivation - but there are others that will suffice. :D
