Ass. I knew you'd say something like that. For example, on your webpage, you use flat text. I used your same basic template and made it more 'pretty' with graphical representations as links...also increasing it's functionality. One's mind picks out familiar logos and colors much more quickly than a single string lost in a sea of text. WhyTF do you think I drive a Cavalier, for example, if we're going to take my quote out of context? Because it's pretty? Unlikely. It's functional (and, as an aside, inexpensive, meeting multiple goals simultaneously). There are things each of us prefers to spend our money, time, effort, whatever on 'pretty' over functional. Your WEGA television for example - why a 36" color when a 12-inch black and white will do? Context, context, context!
