Sent my boss an email at 0715 asking her if she'd pick me up at the dealership. She hates it when I walk. I knew it would go straight to her blackberry. She used the opportunity to call me and bitch about being notified all night long on a threshold problem we were having on a server. I'm glad you finally got to read this as it explains where I was all day. Our client took us out for pizza and games. First, drax0r and I played two hours of Texas Hold'em, then we played lasertag against my boss and Ernest, followed by many games of three-player air hockey and half an hour of bowling, of which surprisingly, I won. I hadn't thrown a bowling ball in over 20 years, and my first frame was a score of, "Two."

Tonight, I sign Garrett up for Cub Scouts, followed by a city meeting! Yes, today was a fun day at work, because we weren't there!

I love going to these department-wide 'mixers' and then only hanging out with people I know.

Remember at the last Christmas party when I invited those two ladies no one knew to sit at our table with us? Yeah, I didn't do that this time.
