Good News!

We got back from Madison a bit ago, and my GRE went well.  I got 800 on the verbal section and 640 (?!) on the math.  I have to wait a few weeks to find out my writing score, but I pleasantly surprised myself.  Yay.

Plus, people are coming to visit in a few weeks!

Hey, Shane!

I don't know where you made that last comment, and I don't seem to have your email address anywhere (what the hell?). I'm about to collapse--two applications due this Friday (12/1), but I'm almost ready. I'm so sorry we've sucked so badly this semester. There was illness and work and more illness and more work. Plus school. Why did I decide it was a good idea to take a graduate course while applying to graduate school and learning how to write grants?

Good news, though. I'm not going home for break (I'll probably go in February when things settle down a bit), so we can totally get together then. That would be great. Maybe we could take a train down to near you, and we could see your new place? Ooh!

Thank you so much for the book. I'm excited to read it in a couple weeks when my class is over. It looks rockin'.
