Kei was a bit lost when she got there, but laughed. This is what she'd seen on tv before, right? I guess that sort of situation really did happen in reality. Sure she'd fibbed about being a model, but none of them needed to know that right?

Shinji had been fiddling with the little television all day. The damn thing wouldn't work! Deciding to take out his anger he slapped it slightly hoping that abuse would work.

Lucky him. It did. "Aha! Success." He chimed happily. He however paused and looked up.

"Oh hey Kei! How ya' doin'?" He asked as he fiddled with a few more switches.

"Shinji!" Kei slipped her way past all the busting bodies as she went and gave him a quick squeeze. "I haven't seen you in a while. Things going well for you?" she smiled. "Where do I need to go?" she looked around.

Shinji glanced down at his wrist watch. It was just about time to start so he dimmed the lights a little. He looked up at the model order and glanced around. "Oiii Kio? Kioooo." He announced.

"Come to the front, you're about to go on." Shinji said as he fiddled with the music and tapped the screen once more.

Kio barely had any time backstage before he was on the runway. He was happy with his outfit, but it made him a little sad that Sou-chan wasn't here to see all this. At least Mello would be here. (He'd made sure of that, anyway.)

He peered into the audience from where he was standing, trying to pick out the blonde. No luck. Then he heard his cue. Don't screw it up, Kio, he mentally chastised himself.

He shoved his glasses into the pocket on his cardigan and strutted out, almost like he was a natural at this sort of thing (and maybe he was, to some extent). When he got to the front of the runway, he smirked and pulled out his glasses, putting them on his face. He waited a few moments, taking in the few cheers, eyes slowly searching the audience for Mello. Aha! There he was, sulking. Kio then turned around swiftly, removing his glasses, holding them sort of off-handedly. As he began to make his way back down the runway, he winked over his shoulder at Mello the audience and then was backstage before he knew it.

Shinji kept an eye on the monitor as he called up one of the professional models. "Alright, once he gets to about half way," Shinji paused as he pointed at the halfway mark. "It's your turn. Think ya can handle it?" The model nodded and right as Kio hit the half-way mark the model stepped out.

"Good job out there." Shinji commented to Kio as he came back. "Now get dressed and on to make up and all that jazz~" Shinji said with a smile.

"Now where's--" he paused. "Hime-chan?" Shinji called out.

Although this was generally the last place you'd expect to find him, Seifer Almasy strolled into the Student Union as if he owned the place, finding himself a chair on an aisle, not front row, but not in the I'm-playing-hookey-in-the-back-row either. He'd actually bothered to clean up for this, with a black long-sleeved dress shirt in understated pinstripes, black dress pants and some honest-to-god dress shoes, though knowing Seifer, they were likely steel-toed too. The shirt was open at the collar and there was a gleam of silver at his neck, but other than that (and the half-healed scrape along his jaw) he looked entirely presentable.

At least he'd bothered to check the order the models were running in - Sayu came out toward the end, and thinking about what kind of outfit the cute little raven-haired sweetheart might be wearing, he couldn't help but smile. Maybe this would be less emasculating than he thought.

Fuu, though - Fuu had choked laughing on the phone when he told her where he was going to impress a girl. He'd have to get

Having been dragged to the stupid event, Mello was a grumpy kitty guy, mistaken for a woman a few times, sitting in the front row. Seriously, this was far from anything he'd ever willingly go to, and he was pissed that he even existed in one of the seats.

"Fucking Kio..." he grumbled, arms and legs crossed. It was bad enough that some people had mistaken him for both a woman and a model in the show, but he had to actually watch the show. And fuck it all he didn't bring an extra chocolate bar with him.

So he sat, angry, his hood with the fur up on his head, and overall fashionable-ness standing out.

Musa was excited about the fashion show. She hadn't been to one since her friend Stella had turned supermodel. Fashion wasn't really her thing - which of course, those that knew her, knew what kind of clothing she liked to sport.

She looked around, seeing all the bustling activity as people rushed to and fro. This would be sweet she thought as she settled into a chair somewhere in the middle so she'd have the best view.

Erica was, of course, one of the earliest to arrive. Smiling benignly, her hair perfectly coiffed and a chic pair of red glasses upon her pixie face, she sashayed to the judges' table and arrayed herself in the center seat, her laptop placed precisely in the middle of the table and her purse laid at her feet.

This will be quite fun, she thought, waiting for her fellow judges to arrive, and for the event to begin. It was such a pity that her nemesis Sunstreaker would not be able to compete - barring a dramatic entrance, dragging himself along the catwalk with his own IV tree - and while she did not put that past his strength of will, she was genuinely sorry not to see him in his element, with all the splendor he could muster.... and then strike him down like a gnat.

Ah, well. At least things would be interesting!

'Wow, this is quite the event!' Aerith thought as she made her way through the crowds of excited people. This was her first modeling event of any kind, and how strange and lucky that it came to Evergrove. She was dressed for the event in a knee-length pink dress and matching heels. Her long wavy hair, let down for the special occasion, swished back and forth as she walked towards the judges table.

"Oh! Hello, are you one of the other judges?" she asked when she reached the table and realized she wasn't alone.

"Indeed!" smiled Erica, making a bit more room for Aerith at the table and holding out a hand for a brisk shake. "Erica McElraft - university librarian. Are you Miss Gainsborough? There are few on campus that can lay claim to such magnificent hair."
