Riku noticed someone walk in with crazy hair and too much energy. Though she felt like he was familiar, she couldn't remember if she really had seen him before. Deciding that he indeed was a perfect stranger, she smiled and bowed slightly.

"Welcome, may I seat you to a table?" she greeted.

Was he...was he joking?

Riku briefly looked skeptically amused, but continued to smile...

"I'll just lead you to a table for one..." she said as she led him to a table along the window, just a little far off from where the couple was sitting. She handed him a menu.

"I'll be back to ask what you would like," she told him sweetly, reminding herself of the way Risa used to talk.

Riku jumped in shock as a customer literally dropped into the cafe. She ran toward the fallen person, unable to see his face.

"Are you alright?" she asked in concern.

Riku felt a little bad. She knew very well what it was like accidentally stumble. Without a word, she picked up his heavy gym bag, which was heavy but she supposed she had worse, and held out her hand to him.

"You're not the first to fall," she said kindly. "There's a first aid kit. You seemed to have scraped your elbow. I can disinfect it.

Ack, I hope I'm doing this right! ><

Road opened the door immediately looking for the first empty table. If this place was as good as her roommate had told her Road was definitely going to have to pester her uncle into coming with her next time.

After a few minutes of sitting she looked around the cafe in search of the roommate in question, Road really wanted to see this oh so interesting~ uniform.

Riku made her way to the table to attend to the customer after talking to Sunstreaker. As shewalked closer to the table and caught sight of a cat-like grin and spiky black hair, she recognized the customer right away.

Road-san...Yes, her roommate was here, seeing her inher full maid-san glory.

Riku groaned and her head fell down. "How may I help you?" she asked without much enthusiasm.

"Now, now Riku~ that doesn't sound very cheerful. Don't they generally look down upon that sort of behavior in the working world?" Road teased waving a chiding finger at her maid clad roommate. That definitely was an interesting look but it wasn't so bad and made her look more doll like which was always a good thing in road's book.

"Mmmm...I think I'll have a cup of earl gray and a lemon bar." Road requested playing with a lock of stray hair.

Riku blinked a couple of times, feeling the nerve on her eye twitch in annoyance. Through gritted teeth, she told her teasing roommate, "They know they are asking a lot from me to wear this stupid thing; I think they're grateful that I even greet customers at all."

She took a deep breath and looked at Road very seriously. "I would appreciate it if you didn't mention this outside of here."

Taking her order in her head, she bowed a little, "Right away, miss."

"Hn, that's surprisingly considerate of them. From my understanding most jobs generally don't give a damn what their employee's think." Road cocked her head to the side as she thought aloud.

"Believe me, even if I wanted to tell someone about your little 'predicament' I don't have anyone to tell." Road called out reassuringly to Riku as she was leaving to get her order.

I worked at a place similar to riku, before i was into cosplay...>.<

Riku came back with Road's order and wondered at Road's last words. "Do you not know many people here, Road-san?"

Since her other customers seemed fine, she sat down across from her roommate, suddenly very exhausted.

"Not really, the people I know doesn't exceed the amount of fingers on my two hands and the ones I'd actually talk to on a regular basis is less." Road said thoughtfully, mentally ticking off the few people she'd met since her arrival.

"Wow, this is the best lemom bar I've ever had!" Road commented after taking a bite out of her food.

Riku barely responded to her roommate. She was glad she enjoyed the food, but felt like an oba-san, working all day when technically, she was not even supposed to.

"I can't wait until my shift is done," she murmured, feeling her body relax at its resting position.
