Breaking form.

Feb 10, 2009 12:22

So I wrote this last night after I wrote the very angst ridden 'Unspoken'. It's dedicated to anorienparker. I know it's not what you wanted sweetie, but I hope I created a picture perfect moment for you.

Title : Breaking Form.
Rating : PG-13
Pairing : Jensen/Jared.
Summary : Sometimes dancing is best with out rules.
Disclaimer : Never happened to my knowledge.

Frustration painted Jensen's heated face, his cheeks flared with a violent red. He could hear Jared's warm laugh melting in his ears, the sense of embarrassment creeping into his cool demeanor.

"Jen, it's okay," Jared would say. Of course it wasn't, though. Dancing was far too complicated. It was always arms up, elbows out, keep your frame. He'd bit his tongue a few too many times when the dance instructor would correct him, a Russian accent curling around her words, "Watch your form, child!"

Child his ass. They tried again, his body still tense and their attempts useless. They went home that day, after their fifth lesson, and Jensen still couldn't take a step without losing his form or stepping on Jared's toes. Silently he reminded himself to thank his mother for his bow-like legs.

Jared surprised him that night, their late walk under the bright stars ending up in a silent park. They had been standing under the gazebo when he felt Jared's hands wrap around his hips in a warm embrace. "May I have this dance?" Jared whispered softly in his ear, his warm breath driving a chill straight down Jensen's spine.

He turned in Jared's embrace, his eyes sad. "There's no music, Jay."

But that didn't matter, not now. They'd forgotten all about frame and where their feet went and just danced. Jensen's head rested against Jared's chest and he swore he could hear his heart, pumping in rhythm with his own. They turned and twirled, the world forgotten beyond the little gazebo.

Together they laughed and smiled, Jared spinning Jensen freely and catching him in his own clumsy yet perfect way. Jared's chest pressed against his companion, their eyes meeting and neither of them shying from the knowing glance. And then it happened, just like it always did. There was that little spark inside their hearts and the butterflies fluttered in full stomachs. Finally their lips would meet, soft and unhurried, and so in love.
