I have exactly the same with socks and still um buying new ones 😆 just got myself two new pairs a few weeks ago 🙈

They seem so easy to buy: they're cheap, they store small, and they have such cute lace or patterns. And then you buy one of each colour to maybe match that coord you planned just around your socks or to go with that one motif you have one plastic ring for and now it won't be so shoehorned. It's the thing I've surprised myself with- I never thought I'd own so many darn socks.
