I follow you on Instagram! Honestly I don't think you owe anyone an explanation in regards to getting rid of your printed pieces; if they're not your thing they're not your thing, and I think you do fantastic coords with solids anyways! I've been kind of going the same way with my wardrobe--I still like prints and all but I really miss solid pieces that have good structural details that aren't afraid to play with different textures of fabric. I'm tired of both plain cotton and polyester, I want more velvet/velveteens, brocades, gobelins, jacquards, I miss those fabrics ( ... )

Hey, sorry for the late reply! You're completely right - around the time when I did my first wardrobe post, I felt sort of a pressure to "balance" out my solids with some prints, and I thought I had gotten over that. But it took me until last year to finally sell one of my favorite printed pieces (AatP's funeral procession of rose JSK), which I realized I would probably never wear, so I guess that was a bit of a turning point!

Definitely agree about needing more textured fabrics (I'm a big fan of jacquard!). It helps so much when you have many similar pieces, especially if they're 90% black and just kind of ... absorb all light. I'd love to see them more in sweet too, since so many of the older pieces using these fabrics were incredibly gorgeous and unique. I hope more come your way!

Thanks so much for the kind and encouraging words. It's incredibly heartwarming to know that someone enjoys my style! Do you go by the same name on IG? I'll need to look for you and make sure I'm following you too!

Wow, I really admire how you managed to photograph black pieces and still show details on them!

Haha, thank you! The real challenge was doing the white pieces. Hopefully this will be the last time I try to do this using my current background!

I'm so excited! Although I like the idea of wearing them in a very minimalist gothic way so I might not have anything too interesting planned, haha. Hoping they release more dresses!

I love how cohesive your wardrobe is. I also appreciated the wardrobe reflections. Embrace the solids, your wardrobe should reflect your personal style

I loved seeing this! Not only is it a beautiful collection, but everything is so perfectly arranged and pictured. I loved the details pics for all the dresses, and all the necklaces, bags, and headwear were just so beautifully displayed and satisfying to look at.
I really like the solid colors and how everything fits together perfectly as well!
