Overall, there's a lot of mixed opinions about combining the two. As long as it is done tastefully, you should be good. One reason people tend not to like it is because drag makeup can be too harsh and clashes with the lolita "softness." I was definitely planning on keeping my makeup decently 'soft' to fit the style, so it would complement a coord rather than clash or feel disjointed. I definitely think your makeup should always fit your outfit! I would also definitely want to keep it 'tasteful', keep the ideas behind the fashion in mind at all time - especially regarding modesty because god knows drag can lack that enough. I think it's really good that you plan to keep to the softer makeup and modest aspects of lolita fashion! However if you feel like you can't respectfully combine the two (due to the fact that drag makeup is very heavy and the outfits/queens aren't always modest) might I suggest going with a more general Rococo/Victorian theme for drag and wearing lolita outside of that? It keeps the aesthetic inspiration but allows you a bit more freedom with clothing and makeup. Either way, good luck and have fun! :)
While some people's is, my drag isn't sexualised or fetishistic in the slightest. Even if any aspects of it were, I wouldn't use it as a medium through which to fetishise lolita. To me, my drag is about self expression and comfort/control with my own femininity and my own style. Lolita is simply the fashion I would like to wear in this, as it suits that side of myself best and is something I enjoy immensely. I think, on the back of this, we perhaps shouldn't be viewing drag as a fetish thing when it often isn't.
No need to be rude. The question is how other people in general will perceive it, and they will indeed perceive it as a fetish. It's not respectful to other egls to subject them to that; the fact that it's called lolita already is bad enough. Why are you so unkind?
I mean, you do you, dude, if you want to blend the two there is literally no stopping you, there aren't any actual Lolita fashion police, though Drag and Lolita don't necessarily celebrate femininity in the same way
