I'm not participating but I decide to post a comment anyway because I'm curious. Why did the model dress that way? I think most of the time someone wears a jsk that way, the other lolitas will come quickly to chide or scold the poor being for not wearing a blouse under the jsk. They're always citing the reason that lolita isn't about being sexy or something along that line.

A lot of brand photoshoots feature dresses without blouse, my guess is that it's because magazine photoshoots are always more out there. Like some photoshoots in for example Vogue which feature models wearing an opened top with nothing underneath, it looks good for the picture but you wouldn't go out like that in real life.

It is because nudity sells. But in this case: maybe you need ths dress, you can use it for lolita or even a fancy dinner... Some JSKs comes better to right in a picture, then they are not covered in frills, you can better notice small details. In this case the top has water fall neckline. I personal would not have seen it if she was wearing a blouse or bolero.

-The only food related print I have is Berry River, it doesn't make me hungry, rather makes me want to picking berries and making jam out of it.

The photo is really of Juliette et Justine's Femme De Classe JSK, which was released a few years ago.

I believe JetJ was trying to sell it more as a general party/evening dress than strictly as lolita, hence the wider straps and bodice design that works without a blouse.
