I'm still kind of new to lolita, but I've found some good shops for clothing, but not so many for accessories. Any recommendations? Any favorites you wouldn't mind sharing?
Etsy has great stuff, especially for jewellery (plus you get to support an independent, possibly local artist/retailer), and Claire's sometimes has some great loliable pieces. Other than that just look wherever you normally would for jewellery, as high street shops often has a lot of good stuff, especially for Classic and Gothic Lolitas. Also eBay or Aliexpress (the latter can have some ridiculously cheap stuff, but since they ship from China, it can take a while).
Asian stores that sell accessories tend to have some loliable stuff. I also get a lot of things from thrift stores.
If you feel inspired to make stuff, you could potentially get some charms and cute small things at craft stores (I especially like local craft stores for this) and attach them to bobby pins/hairclips/jewelry bases.
Depending on what's currently in vogue, you can find loliable jewelry in department stores or high-end shops. I love Claire's for little bobbles like earrings, but most of my best items come from vintage shops and etsy. Check out your local 2nd-hand antique for things like head-wear, pearls, rings, and lace collars too.
I would appreciate it if you bought something. Right now, I will include an extra free gift with any purchase over $5.00. I can also make custom accessories as well if you don't see anything in the shop. Or you can just do a search on Etsy of you'd prefer a different style. . (Please message me on here or FB or Etsy if interested) Thank you. <3
