Just curious...

How many of you subscribe to kawaii box? Do you generally like their stuff? Are there other subscription services you'd recommend? Would you be interested in a monthly lolita loot box? What about only quarterly? I'm in business mode!

If it was reasonably priced, I would LOVE that. I'm a student, and it's hard for me to afford lolita accessories (which is what I'm assuming you imagine the box to contain), especially with the shipping, so a flat rate package every month or so would be AWESOME!

I'm subscribed to Nandemobox's Kawaii box, I did a bunch of research before and their boxes have a lot of variety between months and pretty good quality. From what I've read, Kawaii Box can get kind of repetitive with their items: a key-ring, some stationary and other odds and ends.. plus tbh what turned me off of Kawaii Box was that it isn't just Japanese, It's Korean too.. which I'm not as interested in x3

I'm set to receive my 1st box in December (missed the November cut off) so I can't tell you 1st hand what the quality is like, but there is a few reviews online and I have spoken to someone that works for them via email and they were super nice and helpful ^.^

And I would TOTALLY be interested in a monthy lolita box, especially if it was good quality and reasonably priced... and the shipping to Australia didn't cost a million dollars haha.

Kawaii box is cute, but I wasn't subscribed for long because cute junk like keychains starts to pile up after a while.

I know other people have attempted monthly lolita boxes in the past and there's definitely an interest since all of them have made sales and generated gossip. However, the trick is making it not stinkin' awful! I remember stories about one done by an American group of lolitas that totally tanked and was full of useless junk. There was also the Mirukuma box that turned out to be just a box of candy and maybe one or two accessories. It's hard to balance value versus quality for something like that, but if you have access to large accessory lots and wholesale kawaii makeup/goods then you might be able to make an improvement on these past attempts. If you do well and don't devolve into a ripoff after the first month like all the others, you could get a pretty good consumer base.

Do you remember the price points for those boxes? I know that's going to be the hardest part is balancing quality and price.

I don't remember the specifics but I remember in the last box craze they were anywhere between $20-$50. I believe the Mirukuma one was $30. Most of them seem to have different price scales that offer more/better items for a higher cost.

Would people be disappointed if the got items that didn't match their main style? Like if the got a sweet headpiece but mainly wore gothic. Would that be a problem? Ideally there would be something for everyone in the boxes.
