I have purchased from both. Both times it took me about 2-3 months from when I placed the order until I received my items. Understandable; both times I bought custom-sized shoes.
Qutieland had better communication IMO. My clobbaonline order was held up because one of the items I ordered (Secret Shop shoes and a DoL skirt) was on back order, and I was just kind of left in the dark for a month and a half about the status of my order.
Thank you ever so much guys, Looks like I'll be in for a long wait then as it would be custom items. Great to know that the quality is good. You've definitely made me feel more positive about purchasing from them.
I think if an item is labeled as "in stock" then they can send it to you right away, otherwise you need to wait on the manufacturing time even if it isn't custom made, because if they're not "in stock" then the company is just still making more. Rose Melody is one of the companies that takes the longest time to make clothing, so if it isn't in stock and ready to be sent then prepare for quite a wait ;u;
My first clobba purchase was rose melody. I got the top and skirt chandelier set, custom made as well. Sadly I ordered it kinda late (maybe... october-novemberish?) and it ran into the holidays when they have a flood of orders and they can't manufacture everything as quickly. I ended up waiting... a bit over 4 months before I got my order? >~< Martin told me they're just especially slow with the embroidered pieces (understandable

Thats actually awesome to know. I wasn't even thinking about the quality of the brand but it's definitely something I'm keen to know from people who have first hand experience, so thats great advice.
They're prints and design seem very good and appeal to me, however I'm very new to the fashion so quality etc is something I'm struggling to decipher from pictures. You are the second person to recommend Dear Celine to me today so I'll certainly look into the brand more.
It's also great to know that Clobba are good for communication when things take so long its a worry of mine that you will just be forgotten so that's great to know. I guess when I take the plunge I'll just have to cross my fingers and wait (a while, haha).
Thank you ever so much for your advice about the brand and the shops, it is really appreciated :)
Heehee yeah I really still don't have much experience with quality yet~ All I know is comfort/discomfort ^o^ And sadly the comfort wasn't the greatest. I at least thought the regular/outer (chiffon) material seemed nice! But that was mostly by feel, I just kept wanting to touch the skirt x3
Im very new so I'm sure I'm going to make some errors around quality. Luckily people like yourself on here have been so kind in pointing out what brands are better quality and with all the guides online I'm attempting to study inferior and superior brands in a hope I won't make too many mistakes! eeek
I'm guessing comfort can be fairly secondary with the amount of layers and undergarments etc, But certainly worried about material rubs etc so thank you for mentioning it... hehe I don't blame you chiffon is awesome.
I personally LOVE Clobba. Martin is very friendly and always emails me back within 24 hours unless he's away (and he always mentions when he is going to be away when we are communicating so I'm not suddenly in the dark!) He is very willing to make inquiries for you to the different brands he carries and if the brand has something he doesn't have listed he is usually very willing to get it. He has always double checked my orders on color, size, everything in order to make sure I'm happy. He will even let you add onto your order if it hasn't shipped yet and will do combined shipping if possible!
As for Rose Melody. ALWAYS CHECK THE SIZE IN REVIEWS. I ordered a skirt and it *should* have fit but it didn't even come close. Needless to say but I was extremely disappointed. The quality was nice though. Straight seams, clean edges, good material.
This is so awesome to know it's definitely filling me with more confidence about ordering from them. Plus thats even better news that they will try on things they haven't got listed, that was my main reason for querying both stores as the items listed are not the same across both shops.
I'll be ordering custom if I do order Rose Melody so its great to know the quality is good, or at least in your experience.
Thank you for your advice and sharing your experience
I've ordered from Clobba a couple of times and they've been excellent! You can read my reviews of them on my blog at http://lolitafuel.wordpress.com :)
