Taobaobuying Response Time?

Aug 01, 2013 09:22

Hey, all. Does anyone have experience using Taobaobuying? I'm curious about their turn-around on responding to questions. I'm trying to get in on an R-Series reservation, and I went with Taobaobuying over Taobaonow because I've read Taobaobuying's customer service is really good and I had a few questions around custom sizing. Problem is the ( Read more... )

I know how it feels when there is little time. >.< Unfortunately while this doesn't answer your question, I use Bhiner.com. No one else seems to know it? I usually get a response to an inquiry within the Chinese working day, so about 12-24 hours or sooner, and you can see what phase of the process your items are currently going through. I have done Infanta reservations there too! The reason I started using Bhiner over Taobaospree was because it took a long time for them to reply, and I missed out on a Dear Celine item, but I still use them for custom sizing since it is more personal. Maybe this helps in the future?

Their website looks really neat! How's the shopping experience with them?

As for the poster, I used taobaobuying a long time ago and they weren't exactly fast (it took them two whole days to get back to me) but they might have speeded up now, hopefully.

The experience has always been really good!!! I have moved hundreds of dollars and dozens of things through there with no issues. The 5% charge is pretty reasonable. One time their automatic system mistranslated the cost of one item, but it was fixed ASAP after I messaged them. For me the appeal is also that you can play around with the items in your cart (add, delete, change color, etc) without having to deal with a person. You can choose to consolidate the purchases and choose the percent of total value to declare.

The only downside is that your packages arrives so decorated with tape that it looks like you are smuggling narcotics.

Ah, thanks. They have gotten back to me now, but you're right, it's slow when you're wanting something in a hurry. Sorry you missed out on your socks!

Do NOT USE TAOBAOBUYING!!!!

They attempted to scam me out of $80, and I only got it back after about 7 months of bothering them and eventually telling them I would tell the entire Lolita community they were scammers. Please please please do NOT use their horrible service!!!!
