Help me find tights, please.

Do any American lolitas know of brick-and-mortar stores where I can buy some good quality, thick, opaque white and off-white/ivory/cream tights?

Hue is a great brand for thick tights. Macys, lord and taylor, nordstrom and target sell them. :)

From this and most of the other comments, it looks like I should head to Target first. Thanks, everyone!

I second H&M, they seem to have a good selection over here at the moment.

Target has great tights and I found some really cute ones at Urban Outfitters. Macy's carries a large selection of Hue tights. I love their plain black OTK.

My Marshall's has a great selection of tights. I picked up a pair of opaque black BRUSHED on the inside Ellen Tracey tights for 5.99. They are almost as warm as my Nike ColdGear.

Those sound like some intense tights. I've never seen a Marshall's around here, though. Thank you anyway for the tips!

Kohls has a fantastic Vera Wang line. The latest winter items include OTKs and cable knit tights. I believe their Vera Wang accessories are currently 30% off (or they were the last time I was in the store). I live close to you and while they might not be what you're looking for, these are certainly acceptable (but you might want to wear a neutral tight underneath if you want to wear OTKs). Here are the tights: http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1151952/simply-vera-vera-wang-cable-knit-sweater-tights.jsp And the OTKs: http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1152325/simply-vera-vera-wang-cable-over-the-knee-socks.jsp

I did purchase a pair of the OTKs (black/silver ribbed), and they are nice and warm.

Thanks for the tips. I'm not really looking for OTKs at the moment, but now I'll know where to start looking when I want them. Also, the links are great. Thank you!
