people are jerks. D: i don't know what to say that everyone else hasn't already said (such as talking to the RA, staff, etc), but i hope you get it taken down soon. ;w; there's no sense in being rude.
To the point of why people are so obnoxious about people dressed differently, it's just a thing. I always feel sorry for the GOOD lolita coords that end up on Cheezburger's Poorly Dressed. I get angry because they lump really nice coords (maybe OTT, but still good) with trailer trash mullets, super old men wearing mankinis, and morbidly obese people...wearing mankinis. >_
That really sucks. I know that it's a lot easier (at least for my school) to remove a photo back in high school because we had very strict rules about getting permission to take a photo. Plus... high school is a lot smaller and I have to note that Australian high schools are a lot smaller than some high schools in the US. I have no experience of it happening in college/ uni. We do have some people mocking the lecturers or their friends by taking secret pictures... but nothing too offensive, or maybe it's because we're all pretty laid-back. It more like "Doesn't he look like Colonel Sanders?" or "Thought he was gonna ace chem this semester... first lecture: I don't understand a thing

I get stares all the time, so it doesn't even really bother me any more~ I just am really annoyed that she took it without my knowledge and put it online. What if I was being stalked or something, and now they knew where they could find me? I mean, really, do you not think at all before you do this to someone? The maturity level of the incoming freshman this year just baffles me. Thank you for the support and insight. :D
"I know taking photos of someone in public is not against the law" actually that depends on your country/local laws. You could probably make a complaint to your campus over e-bullying though, but again that would depend on where you are. Your best bet is to ask at your student union/advisor/etc.
I believe in the US/NY state it is not punishable by law. I am working to get the twitter removed since it does contain many intrusive pictures of other people. Thank you for the advice!
