My friend asked me to change her bttsb Sugar rose Op so it would fit better. We decided together to turn it into a skirt and a bag.

I have a skirt that I need to alter the waistband, but I'm too scared of messing it up to take it apart, lol.

If you start on your skirt, just remember exactly every step you did, so that if it doesn't work out, you can easily sew it back to how it was. That's how I was taught to take things apart.

Wow. Looks fantastic! I could never have the courage to take apart a brand dress myself. I barely had the guts to replace the invisible zipper in my BtSSB Lucky Pack JSK!

It was a bit scary, but I have taken very exclusive clothing items apart at my job (I worked as a tailor assistent in an high class old ladies boutique) So it wasn't much different from any other piece of clothing.
Replacing an invisible zipper is tricky though, nice job!
