The best advise I was ever given with ordering custom sizing is to measure in centimeters only. When I do that I have much less problems. Also, it is better to err on the side of things being larger than smaller. A seamstress or tailor or even your local cleaners can take things in, but they can't really make things larger. So measure once and then measure again. Have someone else do the measuring, if possible.

Good luck!!

Thank you! :) You are right, I will go for the larger size. It's not until now that I think giving my measurements by centimeters might be better since China measures by cm and not inches.

Having lurked a few threads asking about F+F sizing: apparently the custom sizing can be a little funny. If you can, from what i have heard, order the larger size if you have to and get it taken in, That is if you need it taken in: since lolita styles use blouses under dresses it is often handy to have a little extra room.

Maybe someone can confirm this?

Good point. Didn't really think of that, thanks.

You misread their sizing guide. The measurements posted are BODY measurements, not the measurements of the dress. Just get the one you have taken in, and next time order the 90.

I already know it's body... I ordered a 95 because I thought I would be wearing something underneath that will make the waist area larger than 32 inches so that's why I ordered the 95 with the 34 inches, but apparently it's too big on me.

Does that make sense?

They already take that into account, though. The dresses are designed to have blouses and cutsews worn under them. Some shops, especially Taobao shops, will even account for wearing a bulky sweater under the dress with their winter items. It was a problem Qutieland had.
