I have a lacrimal gland dysfunction, which is a fancy way to say my tear ducts are crappy and I have pretty dry, sensitive eyes. I generally wear glasses, but I recently got over my INSANE FEAR of *le gasp* touching my eyeballs and putting contacts in. I now have a prescription to wear Acuvue moist daily contacts in addition to my glasses

"Another study, however, suggested that high water content lenses compromise the tear film more than low water content lenses and that they should not be recommended for dry eye patients with low Schirmer scores. But hey if you want to, you should try some 14-14.5 mm from any of those brands. Don't let me scare you off from even trying lol :p
I used to have these from G&G http://www.pinkyparadise.com/webshaper/store/viewProd.asp?pkProductItem=328 and they were not that bad.
You'll never know until you try right? You won't even WANT to wear them if they're too uncomfortable, believe me. Also, all this "circle lenses makes you go blind!!!!!!omfg" is just bullshit. It's not like you put in a lens and *POOF u r blind*! It's good to be careful but hey you gotta have fun too :p

acuvue define is indeed really comfy, but it only comes in brown or black. actually I like them a lot, they do make my eyes look big but in a very natural way. Just wish they came in more fun colors.
I read the same thing about water content, all I can say is the higher water content lenses feel better than those with lower water content. It's still highly uncomfortable compared to acuvue though. The last pair I bought were iFairy with 55% water and I could only wear them a max of 8 hours, at 5 hours they start to really annoy me.
