hmhm quality still bad?

after seeing a couple of hmhm pieces in people's wardrobe posts i wanted to check in to see if anyone has any info in their current quality? when they first became popular here i joined their lj and was really excited about them. until people were posting that communication was very poor, the wait for the items to arrive was outrageous, and items ( Read more... )

thanks for that. being a plus sized loli i was so excited to see their custom classic styles and was disapointed to hear what was happening. hopefully they will have improved.

I'm glad it's not just me having problems with the TaobaoNow site! I'm getting kinda worried, the whole site seems to be down now...

Are you still having problems? It looks up to me now. If you still can't see it, try going to the site url (www.taobaonow.com) and then press the refresh button a couple times. (Ctrl+F5 if you use windows)

The wait is still long, I'm afraid. They're just constantly playing catch up. The quality of the items I've purchased from them has been good every time, but I don't know how their service has improved in terms of congeniality, as I use a shopping service.

how long did you have to wait for your most recent purchase? when i buy things from someone in a different country off of egl sales it usually takes about 3/4 weeks so i don't think that is to long of a wait.

The last one was a wait of about two months or so? I have an order going with them for two items at the moment, as well. They told my service that they'll be finished mid to late February; I ordered early January.

HMHM is generally okay As Long As You Don't Ask For Custom Measurements. (Seriously, just don't.) Otherwise, the wait is as long as it takes for other Chinese brands, especially if you're ordering around this period. The lunar new year celebrations traditionally last three weeks, but even in other months you can expect to wait for up to 6 weeks for an item to travel to your shopping service.

I recently ordered two custom sized blouses and they took 2~3 months to get to me. (they also arrived a bit too large so I made some alterations myself ^^;) It's probably best to order their standard sized items.

Quality-wise, the skirts I have from HMHM have unserged seams on the inside. But they look good on the outside.

oh man, custom size is the only reason i'd order from them. it sucks seeing pretty clothes from them on the wardrobe posts and hearing the current reality of the company. :(
