Tutorial time! Make yourself a half-bonnet out of your waist ties!

 Hello everyone! I've made a tutorial on how to make half bonnets out of your dresses or skirts waist ties. Hopefully it'll be useful to someone! :D

Ahahaha! It's not that hard to sew it together! you could take some basic lessons and you'll be able to make this easily! :D good luck!

Hmm, basically you rip open the side of the waist ties so that they look like they do in the photo of the supplies.

For making the base, you use scrap fabric or paper or something to make your pattern just right and cut out a long-ish right triangle. After you have that piece a good shape to fit over your head, you can cut the waist tie fabric into that shape. I'll try to take more pictures today if that doesn't help any!

Now I get the first part but I still don't get the second part as to why we need to cut triangles in it and where this odd shaped piece goes. ;u; I guess I'll wait for pictures then. Thank you <3

Oh that was just me trying to shade in the shape for some reason xD All you need to cut is a long right triangle from folded fabric xD. Don't know why i didn't think that would make it confusing;;!
