I did a couple of Labyrinth trainings in Austin - that was fun - although some of the people training for The Lost Sport are really hardcore about it! :D I didn't play the ARG much, though - too much content, and it moved way too fast.
Very true. I guess they didn't need to actually give out food to get attention. It seems that giving out prizes isn't their way anymore because they haven't even done the Monopoly game in a couple of years.

Since the Russians were boycotting the Olympics that year the Americans won medals in some of the most obscure sports. As a result, McDonald's had to give away more food prizes than they ever thought possible, (if I remember correctly, I got some free fries for an American winning a silver medal in archery.) I don't seem to remember them doing this kind of promotion after that.
