Keeping Me Going

Tomorrow it's off to the East Coast again, probably for the last time for a while. Airline ticket prices are rising, and once I see the two stadiums I'm going to see next week, I will have seen all the east coast ballparks. I'll need to start getting out to some other parts of the country ( Read more... )

I saw a story about the waterfalls on Joe.My.God. I guess they would be pretty easy to check out. Thanks for the link.

I'm glad I bought the tickets months ago, or I don't think I would have been able to afford it.

You are going to meet Frank? You suck! You might also be able to meet Larry Flick while you are there. If you do, tell Larry I said hello. Ask Frank about shows to see. He will tell you Xanadu. You must go see this. It is required viewing for every gay man at this point. *g*

If you get the chance and love reading, check out The Strand Bookstore, http://www.strandbooks.com. It is at 12th and Broadway. They advertise as 18 miles of new, used, rare, and out of print books. During the days before the internet, they would mail out their list of recently received rare and out of print books they acquired from estates.

If you like Italian food, try Benito II in Little Italy. 163 Mulberry St in the heart of Little Italy.

Have fun, ya big lug.

I'm going to meet Frank. I met him once in Washington DC at Pride, but I'm sure he doesn't remember. Mainly I'm meeting Frank because I like his show and he's not on at such an early time in the morning! If Larry's around at the time I'm going to be there, i'll be happy to say hello. He's a good guy.

As for Xanadu, that's number one on my list. We'll just have to see if I can get tickets.

I love itallian, so it ought to be a great place to be!

Sadly, no time for Boston this time. I'd love to...see you, that's for sure. That and more.

If nothing else, these New York boys are going to have a hard time competing with what's up in Boston. I'll have to get back to Boston.

As God is my witness, in less than 24 hours, we're going to be eating dinner together somewhere.

(Even though we wouldn't go there, suggest The Olive Garden. Tom *hates* The Olive Garden with a passion, and we always tease him with going there.)
