aaw too bad to loose the view! I am itching for a move though myself.. and as quickly as people have been jumping ship, it's possible! Good luck with everything! hope to see ya again soon
Thank you, thank you. Sometimes you do get to a point with a company and you realise it's not a good fit - often it's when other good people are leaving. Haven't quite gotten to that point with the current company, but maybe by the end of the year, it may be time to look elsewhere.
Sorry, we're not in those cities. We are in Boston, Rhode Island, New York, Salt Lake City, and a very small office in San Francisco. The Dallas office - I really should call it the Ft. Worth office, is growing by leaps and bounds, though.
For financial services, out of those three cities your best bet is Minneapolis. The other two just don't have much more than a banking presence (and with the Chicago Exchanges, I don't know why more firms aren't there). In Minneapolis there's Wachovia, RBC Dain Raucher, Wells Fargo, UBS and Ameriprise (though Ameriprise does a lot of ofshoring. I hate calling them because it's almost always someone reading a script in India).

Does you company by any chance have a presence in Minneapolis/St Paul, Chicago or Seattle?
Sitting here this afternoon, paying bills. The news is disheartening ...
