✾So I'm watching last night's NBC disasterpiece The Poseidon Adventure. Because of a Texans game our NBC station delayed the game until after midnight. Let me tell you, this was not a movie they needed to remake ( Read more... )

The internet movie database was chock full of poison for this movie after it aired overseas so I avoided it like the plague.

Reading your review was VERY entertaining.
Disasterpiece is a new one.

The Love Boat similarity was all over it what with all the out-of-work actors showing up for a cruise.

The Shelley-Winters-replacement death scene was the only thing in the whole movie that worked I thought; the rest was a major waste of time.

Yeah, it was fine, but I still think they missed a moment by not having her husband there. What I couldn't understand is why they made the bishop's role so empty by not having him question God? At least not as much as Gene Hackman did.

TV should stop trying to do disaster movies.

Oh she should have been. Adam was good for watching, but they could have helped by getting his shirt off, because his never-there-before character really was pretty useless.
