Sorry to hear that you're feeling so bad :0( Grr it annoys me to that doctors wont come out to you now unless you are practically dying and should be in hospital to begin with.
I was taking iron supplements a few years ago when I thought all this ME/CFS stuff was anemia. I don't know if this could be of any help regarding the stomach problems, but the iron I took was in liquid form. It was quite easy to take because you just poured it into your drink and although it makes drinks taste a bit nasty, it's much better than just swallowing it. I got it from the local health food shop (can't remember what the iron supplememt was called though :0S).
Hope the doctor was able to help with dizzyness and you're feeling better.
I'm back from the doctors and the general thought is that i should come off the iron tablets as the anaemia was actually them saying that i am measureing a 10.8 haemoglobin level rather than 11 or higher... so really no point in it if it's making me feel grim!
So yeah - blood pressure has dropped a bit since last week as well, so the two things combined with the heat is probably what has made me feel dizzy and disorientated.
So i have to stop the iron tablets, rest lots, drink plenty of fluids etc etc...
Wow, they put you on supplements with such a small deficiency? :-o
Dizziness isn't particularly uncommon during pregnancy, due to all the hormones and babies pressing in funny places and such, so that might have contributed as well. Hopefully, stopping he iron supplements will make it go away, though, as there's enough causing discomfort and general feelings of ickiness late in pregnancy already :-P
34 weeks now? Wow! Congrats :-D Your little munchkin will be here in no time. You must be getting very excited! Hope the rest of your pregnancy proceeds uneventfully.
