Fielding interview

For anyone who doesn't follow TVO, their recent interview with Noel is really good: part one and part two. Part 2 is where he talks about The Boosh & Julian and it's quite bittersweet. <3

This bit made be a bit sad, even though I can definitely understand that: "I love the Boosh, but now when I think of Old Gregg or the Hitcher they’re like ( Read more... )

Yeah. :( I mean, I had suspected it for a while now, but this really cements it. It seems like if they do anything Boosh related again, it'll be kind of as a 'reunion', ages from now. I wish they would release the album though, CAUSE THEY'VE SAID IT'S FINISHED. ARGH.

I mean I figured for a while that we probably weren't going to see another series or anything of the like, but this all still makes me blue.

Except for the fact that they still live on the same block and love each other. THEY JUST NEED TO LOVE EACH OTHER FOREVER.

Can they just, like, not have to write a movie or anything, but just do a couple interviews a year where they hold hands and stuff?

No more Boosh makes me sad, but it did make me feel better to know that they're neighbours. CLEARLY THEY CAN'T STAY AWAY FROM EACH OTHER EVEN IF THEY AREN'T WORKING TOGETHER.

I wish they would release the album, at least. That would probably be accompanied by interviews, which would make me happy.

Yeah, somehow it at least comforts me to know that even if they're not working on the same projects right now, they're right down the road and probably popping round all the time to eat sandwiches and bum vigorously

But the album, though - for realsies. It's been done for long enough, just... get it out there, lads!
