The middle is the worst part of any project (STAYS)

After I got the stays touching around the waist, I started to pull the bones down in the mock up. I made a post about that earlier this week talking about bone points and fullness apexes. After I got them where they were comfy, they started looking more and more like an ( 18th C back line )

campi- type, corsets, drafting, 16thc, photos, machiene

I agree... the middle is the worst thing in any project. Grant you, none of my projects even come close to yours in difficulty. But, the middle is still... well, the middle.

It's funny that the last bit that dosn't look like much also takes as long as the major looking stuff. Putting binding on dosn't look like much compared to sewing panels together, but it takes the same amount of time if not longer.

And I beg to differ on the difficulty of your projects my dear. When you start getting into tens of hours of work, it's at the very least on the level. :-)

I have enough to make a matching petticoat. I don't need a green silk petticoat, but if I pointed it on there, I might be tempted to anyway.
