Actually the one-piece is really cute by itself! Maybe it needs just like a necklace and hoop earrings and the right pair of sandals, but it's adorable :) I also went on a clothes shopping spree yesterday, I bought two pairs of (OMG EXPENSIVE) pants, and being me I have to get them both hemmed. Ah, the life of a short person :D but I also got some Aiba-length pants so it's ok.
I really like your clothes! The one-piece looks great - I think it looks really cute by itself and would also look great with a cardigan or jacket over it. And I really like the neck line of the stripy top. :)
thank you!! It's a really slow process to update your wardrobe, imo. I really wasn't a big 'shopper' all my life until now, and now I just want to buy everything

I'm exactly like you! Although all of a sudden I'm interested in clothes, I am SO sloowww at updating my wardrobe. This is especially bad as in two months I'm going to live/work in Japan for a year and I find myself needing a whole years worth of clothes wah! I must somehow pull my act together and become an efficient shopper!
Haha keep looking for that mystery item to go with the one-piece! Although it's okay if you don't remember what it is, as I think it'll go with lots of things :)
Cute one piece!! I think it would look great with a long necklace and straw hat! Dangly earrings!
It's probably easier if you look at designer clothes (I guess whatever designer you fancy) and then spot them in your local high street. I mean those kinds of things always infiltrate the clothes shops anyway!
Do you look at Japanese fashion magazines? They're pretty damn amazing! I think if anyone was going to write about designer labels and cheaper alternatives..it might be them! Maybe teen magazines like Non no since they have a lower budget.
eta: oh yeah, I guess you just need to see if they use US shops! I'm sure there's Forever 21 in Japan.
eta: I just thought of a website. Have you heard of ASOS.com ? My international friends really love it. It's a UK site and it's free delivery worldwide.
Ah no worries! your one piece reminds me of something Naka Riisa would wear in that drama...'Nihongo no Shiranai Nihongo.' She also wore kinda big wedges on her feet with it. There's another idea!
Oooh there must be websites, I'm not really sure where to look though. I'm a really big bargain hunter myself. I know you guys get TJmaxx (our version is called TKmaxx) over there! That's worth a look for cheap designer stuff.
