About the Tokyo recommendations- next time we're both on skype just drop me a line! I've got plenty of places to tell you about (plus I found a pretty clear map of how to find the JFC in Shibuya)
And I went to Keikaro on a Friday and she was there, so... I assumed she works weekdays not weekends because less people would storm the shop? idk, it was January. If you do go on a weekend, GO EARLY. We got there at like 10 and the line was already wrapping around the building (to be fair a lot of schools are off in January for winter/spring break, though) We ended up waiting around 3 hours but we would've waited the same amount of time if we'd gone earlier... idk, if it's a weekday in November you're probably ok to go around 10 (you'll probably have to wait no matter what, though)
if I was at my computer I'd probably watch it on Hulu but since I can just put it on the TV I end up doing that XD but yeah.. now that I've finished the Office I really don't know what to watch now!!
And thank you T^T I just feel like... pattern and color illiterate sometimes haha
I WILL TAKE TONS OF PICTURES AND BRING YOU GUYS BACK SHINY STUFF 8D
As for a suggestions for Tokyo, I recommend ueno park. It is very pretty in the daytime with temples and the zoo and it can be very nostalgic with g no arashi where they teach show how to draw XD. I lived in Tokyo for two weeks so if u want some tips I can kinda help :)
babe! i am back from China (and I survived) so here is my two-cents on Keikarou! i've been in march and august, dinner and lunch respectively. the weather for march was slightly chilly with strong winds, august was hot as hell XD in december 2009 i had visited during weekend lunch but not gone in because the line was so long and i was wearing an outfit that made it very obvious that i was an arashi fan so i got too embarrassed. lol
( ... )
I know that Aiba-mama does lunch but I couldn't remember if it was weekends or weekdays :\ Does Friday count as a weekend or a weekday there? haha I suppose.. weekday?
as for the temperature... XD Well I've been checking past years what the temp was around there, and compared to where we are living right now.. it's gonna be really nice and warm in the 50's-60's (10C-15C). I am sure I will miss that weather after we leave ;__;
Will definitely try to get to the restaurant early though!!
(smacks forehead) yes, you are from a cold country. i constantly tell people to keep warm but that's probably because i'm from singapore and get cold easily, hahaha. you should have no problem with the weather, then!
friday is considered a weekday, most definitely. it's best to go on a weekday, too! the crowd isn't too crazy then. weekday lunch means lesser families (unless you're going during vacation period?) so i'm guessing you get seated slightly faster? i don't know, it was just a feeling that i got seated faster... XD and you get to see aiba-mama. she served my table and i didn't realise it, lol.
oh yes, heads up for sharing tables - i had to share my table with people i didn't know because there wasn't enough space to accommodate everyone in the restaurant. just so you know ;)
i don't know if you have friends going with you or just Lotion, but if you can get five people to go with you you could skip the queue and reserve a private room :D
all the best, bb!!!! HAVE LOADS OF FUN, THAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT!
