It looks like so much fun! I've got to make it out to Dragon*Con one of these years.

I just have to make a plug for Con.Txt. I've gone each year and had an awesome time. It's an amazing fan-run slash con. It is a major highlight of my year when it comes around!

Oh! You've been to Con.Txt - I thought I'd heard someone on my flist mention it once, and you've been on my flist forever so I should have remembered :) (You're one of the reasons I started watching House finally.) I've never been to a fan-run con, and I'm not going to make Wincon next month, but hopefully one of these years. I might be moving to the east coast eventually too, which would make it easier to go to all the eastern cons. I've been to some of the western ones, but Comic Con is hugely commercial and Dragon*Con is a non-stop blast and pretty cheap in comparison (you can get tickets early for 50% off!). MY POINT IS, yes, it would be great to meet you at Con.Txt or Dragon*Con one of these years :) I think you'd love Dragon*Con - there is something for EVERYONE. It's wild. A slash con would blow my mind though.

YES, YOU GOT IT. I thought of you when I saw all the cute Starfleet officers in their retro uniforms and hairstyles. Next year I am sooooo dressing up. Like, getting a hotel room just so I can wear heels.

Yes, yes, and YES :) It was great to see a familiar face at those few Supernatural panels. Of course, you always catch me in con-mode, and even my sisters had to make fun of me for how little my brain likes to work at these things. I hope I didn't say anything too tactless to you. It sounds like you had a pretty fantastic summer too, huh?
