Today I feel as old as ancient Bruce Wayne. So I went to the movies to watch Norman Bates and I'm watching Smallville on a laptop in a coffee shop with my sister, which is the best weekend activity in the universe. Lots of little cakes and candles for all !

Hi there! I feel weird just posting on your journal like this since you don't know me, but I wasn't sure where else to put this message. @_@

I read your G/B stories from ten years ago, and sent you an e-mail to an account you may or may not use anymore gushing about... well, how awesome they are and what a talented writer you are. Your work satisfied an itch that I'd been having since becoming involved with the fandom and inspire me to put more effort into writing my darkfic.

I enjoyed reading your work so much that I wrote a rave review about "Light and Shade" and "Swandive" and recommended them on both my journal and doctor_tailor. In the e-mail I sent, I wanted to know if that was okay; I wasn't sure if you could be contacted and I went ahead posted it. Now I feel really dumb, finding out that you've been on LJ all this time. If that is not cool with you, please tell me and I will take it off the community.

Hello :) I am always late replying to emails lately, but I DID get yours (one of the perks of having the same email/username for 12 years) and to be honest, I am kind of overwhelmed and would have a hard time finding words to reply with anyway, but I'm going to use the overworked-and-busy-so-late-replies excuse ;) My point is, it may be in bad taste, but I still think I'm allowed to say THANK YOU for taking the time to write to me and for totally making my week - feedback is rare and good feedback is really rare and feedback on a story you wrote when you were 19 and posting to messageboards in an old fandom (but which still holds a special place in your heart) is the rarest of the rarest rare. I mean, I've felt silly sometimes, still keeping links open to these older stories, but now I'm glad I did. Star Trek is a special, rare, awesome fandom - and I've met some of the people on the Doctor_Tailor list in person, so I'm totally fine with you posting this there - and other fandoms aren't so kind. I'm flattered that you tracked me down

Oh, by all means, no pressure! I completely understand feeling overwhelmed, especially with commenting (I even wait a few days before commenting sometimes, to make sure my thoughts are collected).
