Oh GOODNESS I love amazing feedback, and this is such amazing feedback - THANK YOU!

Sometimes I think A.I. as a movie exists just to cause us pain, but that is also why I love it, yes. The sense of time in that movie just kills me, and inspires me too, and I thought it was appropriate when dealing with angels as much as machines. Like a loyal dog, or a programmed machine, or an obedient angel - all of these things might wait on the side of a desolate road for you, which is both powerful and frightening all at once. I'm glad Sam worked for you too! I became very fond of him :) And I'm sorry for all I might have put you through - I did write the final scene several times, but in the end I just couldn't bring myself to leave it like the end of the movie. I do love the movie ending, but I wanted to give Dean (and, man, especially Castiel) at least the semblance of a happy ending. I'm glad I could give you Dean and Castiel together in the end :)
